PatchFest 2019

PatchFest is our annual one day summer festival for the whole community.  Join the Friends of William Clarke Park for our annual summer festival for the Lewes Road, Elm Grove & Hartington Road area.

We'll have the usual mix of live music on two stages, bar, food, craft & bric-a-brac stalls, workshops Healing Area, Kids Corner and Football Tournament.

Soulful, eclectic & groove-infused Brighton band. Led by the songwriting couple of Matty Eeles & Ben Jones (Alice Russell Band/ 12 Stone Toddler).

8pm Papazen

Loud in your face space punk to get drunk and jump around to!

Magic Moves Dancers will perform their famous Lion Dance and there will be a solo Raindrop Dance from one of the Groovy Moves Dancers.  Magic Moves are creative dance classes for children aged 2-16 in Brighton.

Bollymoves will perform a medley of Bollywood style dances for you to enjoy.  After our showing we invite you to join in and dance to Jai Ho!

Acoustic harmony heavy country-folk blues

DISABLED ACCESS: We aim to make the event as accessible as we can for people with a disability. Wheelchair accessible toilets will be provided at three locations around the site. The site is mostly on grass and reasonably flat, though there is a steep hill (with a pathway) between Upper Patchfest and Lower Patchfest. Steward will be briefed to assist as much as they can.

NO DOGS: The Patch is a 'no dogs' park. Dogs will not be allowed access (except in the case of guide dogs).

PARKING & TRANSPORT: There is very limited street parking in the are which has two Controlled Parking Zones. Please, if you can, travel by alternative means (walk, cycle, bus, taxi...)

Challenge 25: Before serving alcohol, bar staff will ask to see proof of age ID from anyone they consider looks under 25 years of age.
