The Friends of William Clarke Park (FWCP) are seeking a new Treasurer.
Who we are
FWCP are an active group of local people committed to the aims of
- Promoting and protecting The Patch as a wildlife friendly green space in the city.
- Creating a focal point for community life by, for example running community events.
The role
Our treasurer for a number of years is standing down in the autumn, all financial systems are in place. The role involves:
- Payment of invoices
- Reimbursement of expenses to volunteers using online banking
- Overseeing expenditure i.e. making sure that reserves are maintained for our future events
- Producing regular financial reports for the committee
- A presentation of the finances for our AGM
- Occasional visits to the Coop bank
We are seeking someone to be handed over to from our existing treasurer at our next AGM in November 2024.
Other roles in the committee
We are always seeking to hear from other potential committee members who have an interest in taking an active role. Our regular monthly meetings are open to all so that you may observe the scope of any role before committing to it. As well as carrying out work, we have a lot of fun.
